FINAL CHALLENGE: Challenge Twenty Two

Hello friends!

I hope this blog post finds you having a wonderful day. It is with a sad and heavy heart that I say we are closing the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge after this FINAL challenge. It was a very hard decision to make but one that Ka and I both know needed to be done. For those of you that don't know, Ka, the challenge creator was in a bad accident last November and since then she has been a whirl wind of craziness dealing with lawyers and insurances and coping with depression. As a Design Team Coordinator, I have tried my best to keep up with everything - the challenge, four wild kids, and a husband who travels for work, BUT I have been unsuccessful in doing so.

Ka and I both are so GRATEFUL to everyone who take part in making this challenge so successful. It takes a lot of energy to blog and we seriously couldn't have done it without the friends that helped get it started and the friends that are with us today.

Last but not least, THANK YOU to everyone that participated during each challenge. All of your creations were stunning and so inspirational. We loved looking at each of them and being mesmerized by how each of you interpreted the challenge and we cannot wait to see it again for one last time. You are all really talented!

So, for this final challenge, please use the challenge board below using three elements in a row of your choice. You can create in any way you like as long as we can see the elements in your design.

You are playing for one of the following 3"x 4" stamp sets. The winner will get to choose the stamp set of their choice. If you already have all three in your stash, why not play to give one of these sets as a gift for one of your crafty friend? You can click on the links below to read more about each stamp set.

And now for some over-the-top AMAZING inspiration from our INCREDIBLE design team members.

Challenge #21 Inspiration with Rachel

Hello! Rachel here today with some fun inspiration for our current challenge!

I chose the last column - CAS, Builder Stamps, and Pearls/Gemstones.

I kept this clean and simple and one layer by using a ton of masking. I started by cutting a mask for the large flower and two masks for the small flower. I stamped my central purple flower and then masked it off to stamp my smaller yellow ones. I masked both of those and then began adding greenery to fill out my bouquet. The best part is peeling off the masks when you're finished and seeing how beautifully the image turns out! I stamped my sentiment in a nice bold black for some contrast to the soft colors in the florals. I added some pearls around the sentiment and then just a couple tiny ones in the bouquet itself to finish it off.

There are few days left in our challenge and we really hope you'll play along with us!

Challenge #19 Inspiration with Rachel

Hello! Rachel here today with some inspiration for Challenge 19!

I chose the top row for my inspiration - Color Inspiration, Polka Dots, and Birthday. And this is the color combination I chose:

I just love the cozy red and warm browns. Gorgeous!

I started by cutting a panel from white cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle and then cut a Stitched Oval out of the center. I created a card base and then adhered some light brown polka dot paper where it would show through my die cut oval. I adhered my panel on top of this using foam tape for some dimension. I cut my cup from some red paper and then added some shading with a couple of Copic markers to make it look a little more dimensional. I added some Wink of Stella to the "liquid" in the cup to make it look wet IRL. I adhered my image into the oval using some Multi Medium Matte and then started on my sentiment. I heat embossed it in white and then used a Stitched Banner die to cut it out. I adhered it flat to the panel and used a little foam tape where it crossed over into the oval. I finished everything off with a few Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
