"With love" a cute shaped gift tag feat. Lawn Fawn!

Hi there!
It's franci ( fridayfinally) here to share some inspiration with you!
Here's what i created..

I picked an old board ( challenge #6) to play with and i chose my favourite 3 elements ever: Celebrate, Clean & Simple and .. critters! Yeah i looove cute images and these snails by Lawn Fawn are some of my fave! :)
Here's how i created my little shaped gift tag:
  • First i stamped the snowglobe on some copy paper and i fussy cut it. I used it on my white cardstock to have an idea of its dimension so that i know how and where to position and stamp all the images.
  • I stamped all my elements .. yeah lots of masking here! ihih! If you'd love to give this techinque a try be sure to always stamp first the image you want to be in the foreground!
  • I colored everything with my copics, i stamped my sentiment and added some twine.
  • Here's it ..your cute and happy gift tag! :)

Hope you like my gift tag and thank you so so much for stopping by!

Challenge #12 Inspiration With Rachel

Hey, everyone! Rachel here from RBergfeld Card Designs to share some inspiration for Challenge 12!

I chose the middle row for my card - Arrows, Jute/Natural Twine, and Tag. I also decided to make this into a Father's Day card because the images I chose are perfect for my tropics-loving dad!

I actually remembered to take pictures along the way while creating this card, so I have a mini tutorial for you!

I started my card by heat embossing the arrow background in white on some watercolor paper.

Next, I blended distress inks into the paper in two different colors to create the ombre effect.

I made sure to blend the two colors in the middle to create that beautiful in between color. (The colors I used were Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron.)

When the blending was done, I used my MISTI to stamp the missing arrows in the two colors. For the two arrows in the middle, I stamped once with Peacock Feathers and stamped over it with Twisted Citron to get a beautiful blended color to match the middle section.

Next up was my tag. I cut a tag using a die and then blended the same distress inks in a circle on the tag. It creates the background for my images.

I die cut my images and then stamped them (the dies are solid so it's hard to cut after stamping). I used my Copics to color them in.

And here they are after all the coloring!

I trimmed down my arrow panel and adhered it to a white card base using some Be Creative Double Sided Tape. It's super sticky, so it really helps with the heavier watercolor paper. I used foam tape on the back of my tag for some dimension.

Now I need my sentiment, so I used The Man stamp set from Avery Elle and heat embossed the banner from the top of the set in gold on vellum and carefully fussy cut around it leaving a small border.

I arranged my images where I wanted them and then used foam tape to adhere them. The banner was adhered with a little Multi Medium Matte behind the embossing.

I actually liked this card so much that I created another one in different colors with different images for a friend's birthday.

I hope you liked my mini tutorial and it inspired you to enter our super fun challenge!

Challenge #9 Inspiration Post with Coralynn

Hello everyone,

It's Coralynn and I'm here with some inspiration for our Challenge #9.

My choice = Flowers - Birthday - Masking Technique

Here is my card for the challenge. I die cut an A2 sized panel (LF Stitched Rectangle dies) out of dark grey card stock and adhered that to the card base of what card stock.

I started with the middle flower (Botanical Love Stamp Set) as you always want to stamp the image you want to have in the forefront first.  Then I stamped the flower again on a scrap piece of paper to create a mask.  I then stamped the others and masking as I go along.

I then coloured in the main flower with my copics in the "R" family (numbers listed below) and the "W" family for the flowers in the background.  I love how the middle flower pops off the card.

Once I had everything coloured, I fussy cut the panel and popped it up on foam tape.  I heat embossed the sentiment (WPlus9 Happy Wishes Stamp Set) with black embossing powder on a piece of vellum and adhered that to the flower panel.  I added some warm grey gems and called the card done.

Copic colours used:
R000, R11, R32, R37, R89.
W00, W3, W5.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you got inspired.

I Love You So Matcha

Hi there!
Francesca's here today with some inspiration for you!
Are you joining the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #8? I think it's the funniest one of all time!!
I had so much fun creating my inspirational project (based on the Challenge #8 board) for you. So...here it is! :)

Ahah! This card makes me giggle. A lot!! :)
Here's how I created it:
  • First, I stamped all the images by Lawn Fawn, colored them with Copics, and fussy cut them.
  • Then I die-cut a stitched rectangle from a piece of white cardstock and created my background sponging some distress ink in Tumbled Glass color.
  • Next, I created this stitched hill with a Pretty Pink Posh die and sponged it with Shabby Shutters distress ink.
  • Finally I put all the pieces together to create my cute and pretty scene.
  • I added a little bird and I stamped my own customized sentiment :)
  • With a white gel pen, I also added some details to give them extra cuteness :)

Hope you like my card and thank you so so much for stopping by today!
Have a lovely day :)

Challenge #6 Inspiration with Rachel

Hello! Rachel here with you today with some fun inspiration for Challenge 6! For my card, I decided to use the middle row - Celebrate, Clean and Simple, and Critters.

I used a whole lot of masking for this one! My Misti is a lifesaver when it comes to stamping things like this. When I have a design with a lot of masking, I typically stamp the whole piece without masking on a spare piece of paper, so I know what needs to be stamped first (in this case, the bunny and the bear). I use that template on top of my finished piece to remember exactly where to place my stamps when I have a design I like. It saves me a lot of guess work! I simply place the template on top of my panel in the Misti and then remove the template from my Misti before stamping. It lines up the stamps perfectly and I don't waste paper trying to make the pieces line up!

After my panel was completely stamped, I simply colored the images with my Copic markers. I prepared the card base by heat embossing the sentiment in silver embossing powder. I used foam tape to adhere my panel for some dimension and then finished it off by adding a few of my favorite sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I also added a little clear Wink of Stella to the frosting and some Glossy Accents to the sprinkles. Hard to capture in a picture, but gorgeous in real life!
