Challenge #19 Inspiration with Rachel

Hello! Rachel here today with some inspiration for Challenge 19!

I chose the top row for my inspiration - Color Inspiration, Polka Dots, and Birthday. And this is the color combination I chose:

I just love the cozy red and warm browns. Gorgeous!

I started by cutting a panel from white cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle and then cut a Stitched Oval out of the center. I created a card base and then adhered some light brown polka dot paper where it would show through my die cut oval. I adhered my panel on top of this using foam tape for some dimension. I cut my cup from some red paper and then added some shading with a couple of Copic markers to make it look a little more dimensional. I added some Wink of Stella to the "liquid" in the cup to make it look wet IRL. I adhered my image into the oval using some Multi Medium Matte and then started on my sentiment. I heat embossed it in white and then used a Stitched Banner die to cut it out. I adhered it flat to the panel and used a little foam tape where it crossed over into the oval. I finished everything off with a few Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Challenge #19 Inspiration with Judy

Hello, friends!  It's Judy here today with a card to inspire you for our current Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #19!  Are you enjoying this fun inspiration board this week?  I do hope you have found some time to play along with us!

For my card today, I decided to play with the right column: Birthday/Masculine/Use Packaging Goods.

I am always in need of birthday cards...coming from a large family and having four children who attend a lot of parties, I am always happy to have some masculine cards on hand.  I kept it simple by following a monochromatic color scheme; I do love blues and silvers together.  My packaging goods?  Believe it or not, the twine on my tag is from a comforter set from Pottery Barn!  That comforter was tied up in multiple strands of twine...and I kept it all for card-making purposes!

Supplies:
Stamps: WPlus9 (Happy Wishes)
Dies: Paper Smooches (Gift Tags 2); Simon Says Stamp (Stitched Circles)
Other: Silver metallic gems, Anna Griffin patterned paper, twine from Pottery Barn packaging

I hope my card has inspired you to play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by!

Challenge 19 - Inspiration with Amina

Hello Everyone
Hope you are doing well. Today I am here to inspire you to create a card for challenge 19. The tic tac themes for this one are

and the colour inspiration is from this gorgeous photo

I was asked to create a masculine card and this is what I came up with... I chose the elements photo inspiration, polka dots and happy birthday.

I started off with doing a watercoloured base for the background using gansai tambi watercolours... Then I used a MFT background stamp to create a polka dot effect and finally for embellishments the happy diecut is from Winnie and Walter and the birthday stamp is from MFT.

Thanks for stopping by.
Love,
Amina

Challenge Nineteen

Hello and welcome back to the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge blog! We are so excited you are here to play with us! We hope that you are inspired! For this challenge, we added a color inspiration element to the challenge board. We decided instead of us providing a color inspiration board for you lovelies, we're going to have you pull out a color combination that you've been dying to try either from a magazine ads or a photo or if you prefer getting your color inspiration board from another challenge blog, that works too. Wherever it comes from, just make sure you share the color inspiration on your blog post & let us know that those are the colors you are using for your element. Please don't forget to use all three elements in a row for project. You can create in any way you like as long as we can see the elements in your design.

You are playing for one of the following 3"x 4" stamp sets. The winner will get to choose the stamp set of their choice. If you already have all three in your stash, why not play to give one of these sets as a gift for one of your crafty friend? You can click on the links below to read more about each stamp set.

And now for some amazing inspiration from our design team members.

Nora used the top row across: Color Inspiration, Polka Dots, and Birthday.

Rachel was also inspired by the same row across: Color Inspiration, Polka Dots, and Birthday.

Rachel's drew the colors from this Autumn Colors Combo Board.

Varada was inspired by the first row down: Color Inspiration, Alphabet Stamps and Background Wash.

Varada used the color in this photo to inspire her project! What a beautiful sight! We absolutely love the gorgeous Fall colors!

Channin also worked with same elements as Varada: Color Inspiration, Alphabet Stamps, and Background Wash.

Judy worked with the top row across: Color Inspiration, Polka Dots, and Birthday.

Challenge #18 Inspiration with Nora

Hello everyone!! It is Nora here and it is my turn for some inspiration for the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #18.

For my card, I chose the middle line across-friendship, blues and greens, and ink blending as the inspiration for my card.

I designed this whole card around the sequins. Yup, you read that right. Ka sent me some pretty sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps and I have been OBSESSED with using them. Of course they were blue and green so they were PERFECT for this challenge!

I started off by stamping the flowers from PaperTrey Ink's "Doodlie-Do" stamp set with Versamark ink onto white Strathmore Bristol paper. I then heat embossed the images with Ranger "Clear" embossing powder.

Next I blended Distress Ink in "Salty Ocean," "Lucky Clover," and "Twisted Citron" over the images. I then die cut the card front using My Favorite Thing's "Blueprints 13" die and adhered it to an "Island Blue" A2 card using foam adhesive.

I die cut five smile sentiments out of white card stock using CAS-ual Fridays Stamps "Smiling Fri-Dies" and glued them together to give the sentiment some dimension. I covered it with "Clear" Wink of Stella and adhered it to the front of my card.

I then stamped a sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps "Sassy Smiles" set in Hero Arts "Unicorn" pigment ink onto a strip of black card stock and heat embossed it using Ranger "Fine White" embossing powder. I adhered the strip under the "smile" die cut using foam adhesive.

My last step was to FINALLY adhere the sequins to my card.

So have you played with the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #18 badge yet? If not, I hope this card inspires you to do so. I comment on every card so I hope you stop by and play. I cannot wait to see what you have created!!
